The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Sean P. Duffy recently announced an emergency interim final rule to restrict non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs), causing significant disruptions in the trucking and supply chain industries. Issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) on September 29, 2025, the rule addresses widespread abuse in the issuance…
I think the American truck drivers and real American companies should start filling lawsuits against DOT AND FMCSA. For a start, because they are traitors and corrupt clerks who have no idea about trucking industry
When cheap shots for political points aren’t nearly as cheap as expected?
Are immigrants the new ‘Red Scare’?
No usps you did realize how many there were. You just chose to push out your contractors to save money, pay less and run your loads of the broker board. No vetting of any sort. Tell it like it is and don’t sound so stupid.
Nice to know that the big guys are also struggling to survive the situation they spent years lobbying Congress to create.
I’ll tell you what a cheap shot is and what’s scary,
a government that conspires against its own citizens to drive down wages for the working class. Illegal immigration has destroyed middle class opportunities for tens of millions of American citizens. The politicians that supported it and those that just looked the other way should be hung by the neck until dead.
The gist is all the forigen truck drivers here on visa need to be kicked out. It sounds harsh but the turban suburban with five of em running in shifts takin GG every load for fractions of a penny on the dollar is why freight is so low. All the mega carriers would loose a truck load of their employees which is good. And as someone else already said dot and fmcsa dont actually give a rats ■■■ about trucking or saftey just screwing over Americans and lining their own pockets. Examples are ifta like the ■■■■ is it for the diesel is already taxed when its made its taxed when its shipped its then taxed again at the state level why the ■■■■ do we have to pay another tax on it again. Non cdl dont have to pay a tax on it only reason we have to is to line someones pockets
When the blood sucking tort lawyers run non-stop expensive TV commercials seeking injured citizens from "devastating big rig collisions,) you know the flip flop turban wearers have killed too many Americans.
Have a 48 yr old nephew big rig driver who was T-Boned by “Mr Singh” who was driving a big rig out of Canada and blew thru a four way stop in Ohio back in 2016. Blasted him and his seat into a farm pond where he nearly drowned, if not for two good American men who were driving by and jumped into a row boat and rowed out to save him.
Mr Singh’s employer was also Mr & Mrs Singh who promptly shut down their company and started a new one up with in a few weeks. I discovered that they had another Mr Singh driver who caused a near fatal accident 6 weeks prior in Pennsylvania.
No money from a blood turnip, but they quickly emigrated back to India from the fear of “crazed, armed Americans coming for their lives” in Ontario.
Maybe not quite as ■■■■ as they seemed to be.
Those Hindus are ruining North America. We need to deport as many of them as we can.
You seem to miss the part about public safety. You also seem to miss the part where the ill-gotten licenses and authority have created a very diluted trucking industry. Those who went about the process legally have suffered due to reduced load rates.
USPS don’t have a program to train employees that would like to get their CDL and drive for them. Which I think is stupid.
There is a lot of american truck driving companies with american drivers that would love to take over those lanes. You have to advertise the lanes. So therefore we can know. That wasn’t smart just shutting down the trucks like that. You should have advertised on tv etc. About direct usps brokerage. But yes, there are a lot of immigrant drivers.Banks love to give immigrants loans. They also stick together. ■■■■■■ didn’t want to hire ■■■■■■. ■■■■■■ didn’t have the opportunity. So therefore ■■■■■■ allowed this to happen. Allow immigrants to build companies. That outpace them. They gave ■■■■■■ a job when ■■■■■■ outpace any workforce. If given the opportunity. They know this even to this day, white companies won’t hire ■■■■■■ with a simple high school ■■■■■ charge. To begin a trucking career.
So a lot of drivers went to foreign trucking companies. I seen a trucking company. Grow from one driver to 30 in a week 30 to a 100 in 2 months..
How about reinstate downgraded CDL driver upon clean urinalysis out even better clean hair follicle testing surprising the tedious 3-6 month BS sap program recommendations since your bending over backwards here🤬
I was thinking the same thing
It’s time for American truck drivers to rally in D.C for real this go round
As someone who used to haul the US Mail, it started getting bad with contract companies that were fill in truck loads, and when the USPS started changing the routes ended up disrupting the flow of mail, companies like Ten Roads Express had to figure something out, in the end those loads were sent to brokers. I would see “drivers” show up on the docks and couldn’t speak any English and would hold up their phone with the load information. USPS isn’t that special to not follow the federal policies.
start it state by state or by lowest volume. if you can’t cut everything so quick then make a plan to roll it out and adjust as you go. look at the accidents in Florida Texas and California recently. The one in Texas was hauling usps mail. how many people do you want to endanger or kill for the sake of the mail? it’s only a question of when this will happen again, would you rather the headline read illegal that wasn’t supposed to even be driving killed however many, or overworked American fell asleep at the wheel? or maybe rogue ai overturns in middle of highway after imagining a ghost. I imagine that people would be most ■■■■■ at the first.
What a wake-up call! When a major organization like USPS finds out overnight that a significant portion of its workforce holds non-domiciled CDLs — and that removing them causes immediate collapse of parts of the network — it’s not just about immigration or policy. It’s about how we value the labor, compensate it, and build visibility into who our workers are. If we want American drivers to stay in the profession, we need decent pay and conditions. If we’re going to shift policy that impacts this workforce, we must plan for how the replacement or transition will work. That said all states need to follow the law. Laws have a purpose! It won’t happen overnight!
I can’t afford to now that they’re taking away my food stamps
This explains EVERYTHING that’s wrong with America and WHY so many people think that the majority of politicians should be lined up against a wall and SHOT.
The irony is once again the politicians who created the problem and profited from the solution (CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS) is going to suffer ZERO accountability, ZERO consequences and approximately 1 million poor people: yeah, if you think those 200,000 non domiciled CDL licenses are only letting ONE non-english speaker drive one truck, you should spend some time at a Dhaba truck stop and watch how many people exit each truck, are going to end up thrown under the bus.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, IT’S WAY PAST TIME AMERICAN POLITICIANS START WORKING FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
