A panel at the Trimble Insight conference took on the issue of trying to forecast the freight market in 2026.
As someone once said, “It’s the economy, stupid!” The Trump economy did not materialize, and with high inflation, high unemployment, and low wages, people are not buying things, going on trips, etc. There lies the problem. Get rid of the stupid tariffs that did nothing, and get back to economic fundamentals. Grow employment and wages, the rest will follow
Totally agree. The high costs are literally stopping people from functioning normally. No one wants to spend right now.
