The U.S. Postal Service is saving a great deal of money with UPS as its prime air cargo vendor instead of FedEx, according to a new inspector general’s report.

Hazmat issue is miscommunication between the USPS and UPS.
Postal workers were told that certain hazmat could fly, the hazmat with a code that ends with the number 1.
The hazmat was returned back, and postal workers weren’t told why.
If the postal workers were told it could only fly on FedEx and not UPS this wouldn’t have happened.
Their is also mix ups with commercial air, Southwest is always sending parcels back and we have no indication why.
