Thanks for bringing the story to the forefront
It’s time we start recognizing the good in this industry and that begins with the men and women behind the wheel.
When COVID shut the country down and the world stayed home, drivers kept moving.
Because of them, grocery shelves stayed stocked, hospitals received medicine and equipment, fuel reached our communities, and families had the essentials they needed to survive.
During that crisis they were rightly called “Heroes of the Highway,” yet as the emergency faded, so did the recognition and that’s a travesty.
The drivers didn’t change.
Their sacrifice, professionalism, and commitment never wavered.
What changed was society’s perception, and it’s long past time we correct that by honoring the people who keep America running every single day.
