The state of Georgia officially opens an inland rail hub with plans to take tens of thousands of containers off the roads.
How are they taking 26,000 containers off the Road?Those containers are moved via trucks to the rail yard. Placed on the railcars. Move to the next rail yard. Then they are placed back on trailers and the ‘road’ to move to the final destination. So still on the road.
