Thats a bit excessive. However, I do believe that assimilation should be a goal.
And part of that assimilation is following the rules/laws of the land. Don’t come here thinking you are going to operate in the same corrupt fashion as in the native land.
That is something we should not be tolerating.

A language has NOTHING to do with safety what so ever! I estimate that less than 20% of drivers REALLY check the equipment in particular if the company has lots of drop&books.
Safety is! not getting paid while sitting and waiting until the trailer is fixed (or the truck).
Just making sure; safety and language are two different things.
PLEASE don’t mix this up and be careful out there :+1:

Seems like they aren’t being placed OOS for language-only infractions.
Second, why are licenses required? Safety.
How were those licenses acquired if they are English-deficient? Fraud.
What pretense do they continue to operate under once they obtain the ill-gotten license? Fraud.
What is the last thing on their mind? Safety.
When a rule from the mid-90s can’t even be adhered to, it’s time to do a reset. Fix the industry so the ones who were going about it honestly aren’t paying the price. Too many have already been forced out.
