A rival CEO warned the proposed merger of Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern, if approved, would give the transcontinental behemoth a commanding 50% share of all U.S. rail freight.
Ms Farmer’s primary objection to the UP-NS merger is that it plays havoc with the BNSF-JBHU Quantum Agreement.
