AB5 is a joke. It appears to me like the two hiring companies are different business models than the trucking company, so why would it apply? I thought that it only applies to trucking companies working for other trucking companies? AB5 was designed to go after the “GIG” community, but the GIG community bought there way out and are now exempt. So they go after the trucking industry. California is getting more ridiculous by the day. Its pretty bad when you have been in it 30 years and now wake up each day and google how California is trying to get over on the trucking industry today.
