“Necessary evil” of a purge sounds ominously like a some other euphemisms…

Or just screening to obscure purely vindictive anti immigrant policies?

What of this sounds friendly or forthright?

Sounds to me like we are about to be 600,000 times safer with a LOT LESS junk/ dangerous/recycled/dirty/duct taped (bumpers, fenders, light assemblies) equipment running around on the interstates. The added bonus will be more liability policies with actual and real coverage.

I would love to see the Mega Carriers take a BIG hit. They are only in it for the money. How much are the CEO’s making? Over the backs of the drivers. The drivers to them are just a numbered person. I was making .28 per mile in the early 1970’s as a Team driver. 50 years later what are the drivers making? I am sure my boss back then was financially secure, but not making millions yearly.
Who is it that my man BoneHead Truckers gets into his video’s. Drivers that shouldn’t be drivers. Lets clean up this industry and have professional truckers only behind the wheels of these semi trucks, and pay them so that they can afford a home and be able to support their family .

One can only hope this happens. The ELP re-enforcement will only remove drivers and carriers from the pool if there is follow up investigations by the state police agencies to check for Out Of Service violations and have a take no prisoner approach to fines and safety rating changes for all OOS violations. The non-domiciled CDL audit has pending litigation against that will probably at least be stayed, halting implementation.
