Illegal work by B-1 visa truck drivers does serious harm to the U.S. trucking industry, stakeholders said.

This guy calls himself a “journalist”? I could have written this article in half the space with a heck of a lot more detail. He repeats himself several times about B-1 visa drivers being a problem, before he actually gets to what the problem is. He also doesn’t offer any insights to how the problem could be solved. Overall, this is a pretty poorly written article that had I submitted this to my journalism teacher in high school, would have gotten me a failing grade.

Cabotage by foreign drivers has always been a problem. It is a serious problem inside the border zone too. It is even easier to do

Simple fix, Mexican/canadian drivers can bring it to a cross dock and American drivers bring it the rest of the way, brings more jobs along the borders, more warehouses and such, keeps the money in the countries… Just have them be 24/7 locations! Same goes for USA to Mexico/canada…
