Highway, a leading firm in freight fraud mitigation and carrier identity, has introduced a feature allowing brokers to screen out carriers employing drivers with non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs). Highway has released a new feature which will allow brokers to screen carriers that have principals that are non-domiciled CDLs. This will go a long way…
Highway takes things ridiculously way too far. I don’t like or agree with Non-Domiciled CDL’s. That being said Highway assumes too much unjustified control over carriers. Above and beyond government. That’s Fascism…
Didn’t the Feds used to publish booklets on How To Redline neighborhoods? Getting the local governments and developers and lenders to do their discrimination for them?
How is this any different from an occupation-based version instead of housing-based?
Protecting property value from undersireables sound almost as good as supposed safety anecdotes smeared across the headlines?
Our experience with Highway is really bad. They demanded personal information on one of the office employees. She submitted it and the information disappeared. Highway, then demanded personal information from another office personnel. At this point, we refused. Why does Highway demand not only personal information about your drivers, but also office staff? Identity theft anyone? Our contacts at Highway are suspect as they have thick foreign accents. This is a perfect storm to take over company information and pretend to be a US carrier while protecting illegals.
Carriers must have drivers sign waivers to allow them to pull PSP and MVR details. I like this idea however Highway does not have to get these approvals?
