These immigrant visas are taking jobs from Americans they work for less an trucking companies take advantage an it drives down rates an American truckers wages, if pulling the visas or disqualifying them is not a solution to protect American wages I think the government should tax them kinda like the tariffs, if they want to come to america an take away Americaâs higher middle class jobs an drive wages down they should be taxed extra to compensate an the companies that higher them should also be taxed higher,I donât even know if the foreign drivers are required to pay taxes but they should have to pay more,an that goes for the Canadians also because foreign drivers from other nations infiltrate from there also ,The â â â â â â â â government should be paying higher tariffs to operate these foreign drivers
A personâs immigration status or their visas does not demonstrate them being less than, does not make them incoherent, or not Americans. Many immigrants are very american if you were to meet them throughout the United States and they might even be more literate and articulate or even moral if you actually travel and meet people from various backgrounds. As we have seen currently- many people who even are citizens are being detained and held in immigration centers for being assumed to being illegals based by their exterior looks, their accents, and their persona. However, why cant you wake up and see that immigrants are also are who contribute to the economy, educate the public, and have no criminal record. An immigrant american is not defined by their visas or their immigration status⌠Look politicians- remember your history and what you promised to the constitution and the founding fathers that created said constitution. Remember your history. The founding fathers were immigrants to this nation and if it werent for them the elites that were created thereafter wouldnt have been able to be the powerful individuals they are today. How all powers begin is through migration and immigration. Its taught in all schools regardless of background differences. Bring back non domicile cdl as many are probably more loyal to the United States than people who are citizens who live on W.E.L.F.A.R.E⌠immigrants cant get W.E.L.F.A.R.E and do not live off of the government. The racism is getting so bad it seems like there is an intent to bring back slavery and go back in time that it might lead to world war 3. Im honestly scared for all of our lives. Please do not do this..where is the humanity??? This country of the usa raised me?? Where is its principles and foundations??? Weâve just had an accident in Indiana, where four people died. The accident involved an illegal immigrant driver. My question to FMCSA AND DOT is â How many more American people must die in accidents involving illegal immigrants before you start doing your job and put a stop of this â â â â â â â

In furtherance of our May 27, 2025 Petition for a Decertification Order, this is a Petition for Reconsideration of FMCSAâs January 7, 2026 NOTICE OF FINAL DETERMINATION OF SUBSTANTIAL NONCOMPLIANCE by the SBTC.
We request final agency action on our May 27, 2025 Petition pursuant to 5 USC 555 and the January 7, 2026 agency decision referenced above at this time, and request the agency decertify the state of Californiaâs authority to issue any and all CDLs.
As we have repeatedly stated, the law requires decertification once a final determination of non-compliance has been made. This is non-discetionary and is required by law.
49 USC 31312 states:
(a)In General.âIf the Secretary of Transportation determines that a State is in substantial noncompliance with this chapter, the Secretary shall issue an order toâ
(1)prohibit that State from carrying out licensing procedures under this chapter; and
(2)prohibit that State from issuing any commercial driverâs licenses until such time the Secretary determines such State is in substantial compliance with this chapter.Please promptly advise the SBTC whether you will be voluntarily complying with your duty to decertify so that we may know whether a Petition for Review to the DC Circuit requesting an order directing you to decertify California will be necessary in this instance. We would prefer not to be forced to jam the Courtâs docket and would appreciate a favorable response from USDOT.

Is it foreign drivers or these d-mn tariffs? Call it safety but the Feds keep talking about reducing the number of drivers to boost freight rates? Trying to put workers out of work is usually an accomplishable task, though getting the ârightâ folks back to work after the crash is another thing all together.
