Look at the messed up Trucking Industry since the inception of FMCSA. How incompetent does lawmakers get? Change this change that. My God it’s mind boggling. Indeed the main goal must have been to devise a methodology that creates jobs and bolsters economic activity.
They have accomplished that mission. But what happened to the days of talented commercial drivers.the FMCSA is on a path of regulation over education because they(FMCSA) do understand expert driving skills
Nor do they know how to promote those skills.
Overhaul the FMCSA with emphasis on negating the power lobby and influencial 501c3 organizations that aid in this debacle.

As a professional over road truck driver I don’t like the pulsing brake lights I seen some Amazon trailers use them and they’re a distraction. most semi truck manufacturers when you activate the jake brake, the trailer breaks light up causing it to flash, some people get it confused and will slow down and move over causing backups and other people might think it’s an emergency vehicle from a distance at night so my personal opinion i dont like them at all, the last thing I want to do is be stuck behind one at night time following them for miles wile the stupid light keeps flashing, have you ever been behind a tow truck with those flashing strobe lights in traffic on the interstate,

These pulsating lights are more of a distraction. Rear end accidents are caused by inattentive drivers. I agree with you 100 %.
