The FMCSA has made changes to a slate of technical rules affecting drivers and carriers, including ditching spare fuses and embracing digital inspection reports.

Soo in other words nothing changed of any meaningful significance.

Basically nothing to help where it’s needed. A bunch of desk riders thinking they are doin something to help us. Only thing they know about the industry is what they have read, been told, etc. Office rats need to be out there experiencing the true day to day dilemmas we go through so they can see it n live it. They ain’t helping much not knowing what really needs to be done. These changes I just read, it’s really going to help right

I get really frustrated with theinflexibleoperationandoverrideon my ELD. Whileon my 34, I bobtail in P.C. to walmart for supplies in transit, the ELD kicked me out ofP.C. and into drive. all within 1.2 miles radius of the same location for 2 days timetable. So almost complete and I have to start all over? ■■■■■■■■! no wiggle room for software or malfunctions. So much more stressful monitoring the ELD to confirm legal operation. The software shouldn’t be able to automatically change your status after you manually select P.C.!! My biggest issue with E.L.Ds!!
