Great article. After reading yesterday’s, I sent an email via the FMCA web site voicing my concern. As a Purchasing and Logistics manager for the company I work for, I deal daily with trucking firms. I have encountered many drivers that can’t read or write English. To my amazement, I received a phone call and voicemail because of my email. Although I had written to the wrong department, the caller expressed how deeply concerned they are about this accident. He also gave me a phone number to the correct area. He also said the federal government has been trying to get non-domicile licenses revoked and chameleon companies investigated but they keep being hindered by litigation. Keep up the great work and providing articles like this. Love them!
And something else to consider when you mention how fast and thorough the Trump Administration has gone to work on fixing this problem…

Who would have thought that simply by removing 660,000 CRIMINALS from America, the numbers of violent crime would plummet to levels unseen in over 120 years and the population of the US was 76,212,168 instead of over 335,000,000. And yet for some ODD reason Democrats are fighting this administration tooth and nail to protect the CRIMINALS not the law abiding citizens…
Let me give you another example. Think about this the next that beat up volvo passes you on the highway , with a piece of printer paper duct taped to the side of the door. Let’s say you have authority, insurance and are listed on SAFER. Then I pass out this information to my 22 foreign low wage cousins. Those 22 can book loads with any broker in the country off of one foreign low wage persons company. All you need to do is change the insured on the ACCORD Ins cerificate. What’ or who is gonna stop this? The short answer? Nobody. I assure you it is going on now. Right behind the duct tape, holding the piece of printer paper, to the side of the truck, with the company name and dot number written in crayon.
