Widespread procedural lapses in the return-to-duty process could threaten clearances issued to truck drivers and other transportation operators, according to DOT.
A large portion of these valid complaints are being driven by insurance companies not willing to pay for testing and in person Dr visits. Our medical providors today do not have discritionary options when dealing with patients health or wellbeing. The insurance industry has taken over common sence Dr patient confidentiality and they are mandating what is acceptable practice not the medical providers. Quite a few insurance providors will not cover specific testing or require a specified lab to be in network before utalizing required procedures. Knoqing there are practices still running the gammit pushing pills and not adressing the real issues because there is no money being made curing patients.
Why should insurance pay for drug testing other than the initial test? If you fail, you should be responsible for paying for the treatment program.
