How is this not a regulatory capture attempt to boost flagging mileage rates? Brake checks flag every sixth truck out of service, but we are supposed to worry about a work permit and a CDL not having exactly the same end dates somewhere in the future? Anyone smell whiffs of something less that fully ingenuous?
