BNSF aims to grow carload traffic with rail service upgrades

The single-car merchandise business is central to plans of the largest rail carrier of intermodal, coal, and grain.

Interesting. Sounds like the opposite of Precision Schedule Railroading where all the single car customers were told to deal with cutbacks on service frequency. My question is with all this expected volume, what is the on time performance of BNSF carloads? I mean if the purpose of PSR was to cut labor, what is the effect of increased volume with less labor? Are they decreasing yard dwell time by parking trains in sidings?
