Skilled machinists at NS’ Juanita Shops in PA will be eliminated as one example that will be repeatwd hundreda of times. All positions will favor extant UP employees. And UP and NS actually DO competw between Chicago, St. Louis, and Kansas City.
Under the guise of consolidation and economy of scale, UP will kill thousands of jobs in every NS state: VA, MO, PA, NJ, NY, OH, IL, MI, IN, ■■, TN, GA. And UP will raise prices.
