That’s why I pull over when I need a sip.
Do they prefer your letter carrier uniform or your kingly garb?

I wanta go to Houston just to see him drivin’ around in his LLV in the “kingly garb”. Do you think he qualifies as a local celebrity? ![]()
I bet he got the BOGO Whopper! (He wants to charge me a $100 for a t-shirt.)
He is at least a worldwide celebrity. Possibly universal. Have you ever noticed that Miss Universe is always from planet earth?
You said “kingly grab” instead of “kingly garb”. Was that a Freudian slip and what does that say about you? Or him?
It was just a typo. Proof reading should be mandatory, at least in my case. ![]()
I post from home computer instead of a phone. I guarantee my phone would have changed that word. It is funny my phone changes my texts when the words it thinks I meant don’t even make sense. Or maybe my phone thinks I meant to not make sense?? And if I don’t check the text I can count on looking stupid.
I think I made that comment from my laptop. Spell check was enabled, but I’m afraid I was typing too fast and thinking too slowly. Being seventy is not for the faint of heart.
There was a squiggly red line underneath, but my elderly brain overrode my computer. Shows what my elderly brain knows. Solution: Slowly proof read comment before posting.
Well, if you are seventy you wouldn’t have any business posting from a phone anyway. What do you think about young BurgerKing still working (or at least being employed) at your age? Full disclosure: I am currently wondering if I should work that long. I just hate to not collect from that retirement sooner.
I worked thirty and retired at sixty-two, Then, I got disability through Social Security, so I didn’t lose anything going early. I’m getting ready to have my third spine surgery, and I have enough titanium holding my spine together to make a watch (so it wasn’t a hard decision for SS). I’ve been reading your comments to BK about retiring, and I think he should pull the plug, but it’s a really personal decision. He’ll probably go when Ronald leaves Mrs. King alone. ![]()
best you pull over before you get pulled over ![]()
Sorry to hear about your spine. I am glad you got the SS disability. That meant no reduction in SS and you didn’t have to wait for Medicare. That was the best possible outcome aside from not being injured.
it’s about 50/50 according to the latest polls ![]()
I got a plan about retirement but I can’t remember what it is ![]()
BK, if nothing else, you can always pawn your gold crown— but I sure hope it doesn’t come to that!!! You and your crown are iconic!

Anyone read that article where they are going to lay off 355 UPS workers in Sacramento??? Wow, I’d love to hear what those workers have to say about that! I wish they were on this site! Union this, management that, can you just about imagine???

And as I read to the end of the article… it says that UPS wants to cut around 20,000 positions in 2025!
That’s a lot of cutting! ![]()
