I wish Texas would get casino gambling but so far no. but they have it in the border states like Louisiana , Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. so lots of Texas money is going there. Somebody said lobbyists from those 4 states are blocking a bill that would allow gambling in Texas. Our money is keeping those casinos open I guess :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Texas has been a repub.lican state for a good while now. but there’s talk that a democrat could win the senate seat in november. That would be a big pickup for the democrats if they hope to flip control of the senate. I saw where the louisiana senator up for reelection lost his primary because he voted for trump’s impeachment. Trump vowed he’d get revenge and he did. He backed some woman and she is in a runoff with another candidate. and the dems are hopeful they might pick up that seat too. it’s odd that the commies blocked republica.n but not democrat :laughing:

What really goobsmacks me is that re.publican voters can’t see through Dementia Don. I swear I’ve typed both party names and wasn’t blocked by the “commies”. I don’t get it. :wink:

I have issues with the democrats too but not as much as I do with the republicans( this word passed) :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I consider myself as a Independent technically. I have voted both ways. I voted for tricky dikk nixon when I became eligible to vote back in 1972. and Ronald Reagan :smiley:

Maybe they realized that if democrat passed so should re.publican. It didn’t pass for me. I must be in their doghouse. Is there such a thing as a commiee doghouse?
