It’s about ■■■■ time! This has been a rule, as with everything else in the trucking industry, if they don’t like it they throw money at it until it goes away.
Driver’s across the US need to park until they are paid more as well.

How’s is this even a thing now? This should’ve been applied many years ago. I understand that everyone needs a shot at getting ahead in this country. But the reality is that we have thousands of foreigners in the industry who don’t understand, speak, nor write in English. These are 80,000lbs vehicles. The DMV’s gotta do better at issuing these licenses. For decades I think we’ve been under paid because of cheap drivers, foreigners who are being literally taken advantage of, and they don’t care because in their country that’s a lot of money. Look at people from Mexico, they cross the border from mexico to deliver a load and then when they’re here they take super cheap loads all over. Look at Europeans, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, or indians, Canadians, etc. Sorry but I just don’t feel bad at all. Take them off the road.

English proficiency requirement has been on the books since 1936. Shame on law enforcement for failing to enforce it. It it had been enforced this wouldn’t be an issue.

Boohoo I could care less if greedy carriers can’t afford another boat and now they have to pay Americans a decent wage. Justice is coming next we’re kicking out the street shitters and the somalis too. If you can’t afford to pay Americans a decent wage maybe you shouldn’t have started a business.
