On Monday, the FMCSA revoked eight electronic logging devices tied to Gorilla Fleet Safety LLC, citing failure to meet federal technical standards. Fleets now face a 60-day deadline to replace noncompliant systems or risk violations.
Personally, I believe they need to revoke all the ELDs. From my observations since they were mandated, we have seen a larger number of crashes due to speed and careless driving. The fact that they are inflexible and waste you precious minutes while stuck in traffic makes them “force” drivers to do dumb things. plus, why again are we all being forced to pay for an expensive service that the majority of us do not need. let those who want to ruse them do so, and those who don’t want to, run paper logs. Thank you.
Anything the Surbs are using need to be shut down. Especially ANYTHING having to do with SUPER EGO. They are one of the kost corrupt companies in the Industry!!!
