Senate Republicans introduced a companion bill to codify strict English proficiency standards for truckers, using the legislative tactic to speed up its potential passage.
Drivers should also be tested on understanding how to maintain the vehicle as well as knowing its current condition meets acceptable conditions for it to be on the road.
Its sad that Democrats dont think the ability to understand English and have ability to understand traffic signs should becrequired for a CDL license.
Seriously, it scary how Democrats will put wokeness over basic safety
It’s good to have the language proficiency requirements. It’s unacceptable to work on a language different than native with basic knowledge. But the way this administration treat drivers or others like they commit a crime, that’s really scared. They are using immigrants and drivers for political battles. Very unfair.
They keep saying immigrants or illegals are criminals while they are the one allowing native to buy guns to enter schools, churches and public spaces to kill tens of innocent people everyday for no reason.
